Can someone explain this?[edit]

'...Shields lived with her family in a rented second floor apartment of a brick bungalow ...' I thought that a bungalow usually refers to a single story dwelling. How can it have a second floor? Grandma Roses (talk) 13:55, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The Bungalow article says "A bungalow is a small house or cottage that is either single-storey or has a second storey built into a sloping roof (usually with dormer windows)"

"Storey is the British spelling of story, which in this context is a word meaning "floor", so yes, it can have a second floor.47.139.41.227 (talk) 20:08, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Date of birth[edit]

While a number of sources agree with AP News that her birthday was July 30:

there are also plenty that report her birthday as July 29:

Seems like a fairly even split to me, so I'd rather ask for consensus here. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 14:33, 8 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
