James Kent Trotter (born 29 July 1999) is a Japanese tennis player.

Trotter has a career high ATP singles ranking of world No. 371 and a doubles ranking of No. 171 achieved on 20 May 2024.[1]

Trotter has won 2 ATP Challenger doubles titles at the 2023 Columbus Challenger with Robert Cash and at the 2024 Cleveland Open with George Goldhoff.

Trotter played college tennis at Ohio State,[2] where he won the NCAA Division I tennis men's doubles championship in 2023.[3]
