The chart does not meet the requirements for being added to Wikipedia. Per WP:BADCHARTS Newpicarchive (talk) 16:00, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Airplay charts and deliberate factual errors[edit]

Newpicarchive Everm4e Do not ignore Wikipedia:Record charts/Sourcing guide by replacing the South African main chart peak with the Radio chart peak. Likewise with the misleading and false claims in the lead claiming the song reached number one on the national chart of XYZ country when that was not the case. You cannot compare the inclusion of the US Rhythmic Airplay chart to France, Denmark airplay charts whose national singles charts are already present and do not include Airplay like the US. WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS is not an argument on Wikipedia. If you have an issue, take it up at Wikipedia talk:Record charts, if you continue to add deliberate factual errors, edit war and blatantly inflate the success of the song, you will be reported. Again, claiming that any editor can "deliberately inflate" the success of a song on the Internet is preposterous. You've ignored several principles of WP:EQ and are now casting WP:ASPERSIONS on several users. Do not claim I have replaced any main chart peak with a radio chart peak if I have done no such thing. If you're looking for an actual resolution, perhaps seek a WP:3O instead of @ing me about an article I have not edited in several days. Otherwise, the edit war is being done by yourself. I have already addressed the Israel/Estonia issue in my talk page. Everm4e (talk) 03:07, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, the Billboard Hot 100 does include airplay, while the SNEP and Tracklisten singles charts don't. Surely you know this yourself?

Concerns regarding WP:NPOV[edit]

While this song has obviously had an impact on music this year. The amount of MOS:PUFFERY on this article is concerning and it reads like a fan written page of praise at times, rather than a concise, neutral Enclyopedia article. I would recommend it be rewritten with a WP:NPOV. Some examples I noticed:

  • Music critics praised "Texas Hold 'Em" for its authentic sound,
  • Country artists and country radio managers also praised the song
  • Texas Hold 'Em" was a commercial success and marked several historical achievements.
  • the first Black woman with a number-one country song in Billboard history.
  • the first ever country song to do so since that chart's inception in 2020.
  • Country icon Dolly Parton recognized the impact that "Texas Hold 'Em" has had, praising Beyoncé as "fantastic and beautiful".Parton continued to laud Beyoncé on social media
  • Hootie & the Blowfish's Darius Rucker expressed himself as a fan of Beyoncé's embrace of country and praised the track as "a great song".
  • the eighth Black woman to land on the Country Airplay chart in history,
  • The song was a groundbreaking success and marked several historical achievements.
  • Beyoncé becomes the first black female artist to send a country song to the top of the Apple Music global chart.
  • Texas Hold 'Em" became the first country song to reach the top 5 on the chart.

Are any of these incorrect or do you just not like her music? ~~ Jessintime (talk) 02:11, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please read MOS:PUFFERY and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view and do not make personal assumptions about editors on Wikipedia. Cool Marc 02:28, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
