Khuri (Russian: Хури; Lak: Хьур) is a rural locality (a selo) and the administrative centre of Khurinsky Selsoviet, Laksky District, Republic of Dagestan, Russia. The population was 518 as of 2010.^[2] There are 3 streets.^[3]

Geography[edit]

Khuri is located 141 km southwest of Makhachkala,^[4] 2 km northeast of Kumukh (the district's administrative centre) by road, on the right bank of the Kazikumukhskoye Koysu River. Kumukh and Khurukra are the nearest rural localities.^[5]
