In the line "Upon his inauguration, he became the oldest president in American history, breaking the record set by Ronald Reagan", change Ronald Reagan to Donald Trump. Reagan was 69 at the time of his first inauguration while Trump was 70. 2600:1700:103C:3410:9552:54DB:A612:BC2E (talk) 00:33, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@A. Randomdude0000 I believe the original was meant to state "oldest President", not "oldest at inauguration". Reagan served two terms and was older when he left office than Trump was. Reagan was 77. When elected, Biden was 78, becoming the oldest president ever, beating Reagan's record. -- ferret (talk) 04:36, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I stand corrected. Thank you for the clarification and correction. A. Randomdude0000 (talk) 01:45, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In the section on Russia, On May 19, 2021, the Biden administration lifted CAATSA sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline project between Russia and Germany.
In the section on Europe, ranked two below Russia and one below Ukraine, President Biden promised to repair "strained" relationships with European allies in contrast to his predecessor Trump. "An attack on one is an attack on all. That is our unshakeable vow," Biden said, referring to Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty (the mutual defense clause).
The article remains silent about Biden's "remarks" on North Stream in February 2022, in the presence of German Chancellor Scholz, as well as about the sabotage in September 2022. 2003:C6:373C:F181:E0A5:2ADD:66B1:7D39 (talk) 00:26, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
