Vanj Padilla is a former Board member and Vice-Chairman of Wikimedia Philippines. She was a volunteer since 2012 doing events for and editing the Pangasinan Wikipedia. She has been tagged to visit other chapters in Southeast Asia to learn about their best practices and connect with other Wikimedians in the ESEAP Region. She was one of the delegates in the Brand Movement Strategy Conference in Bangalore, India. In 2019, she facilitated the ESEAP Summit in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2020, she was tapped as one of the local coordinators for the Philippine pilot of the Reading Wikipedia in the Classroom Project of the WMF Education program. In 2021, she was hired as one of the Board of Governance Facilitators for East, South East Asia and the Pacific Region..

After her contract with the Board of Governance as Facilitator, Vanj was chosen to be a member of Wikimania Core Organizing Team (COT) for 2021 and again for Wikimania 2023 to be held in Singapore.

Concurrently, she leads a community in Pangasinan Pangasinan Digital and Small Ripples Project in partnership with government agencies and local government units to upload and digitize local laws and ordinances as well as increase content on Wiki Loves Folklore Pangasinan.
